Story Shuffle

Last updated: April 24, 2026

Story Shuffle is designed to work without user accounts, advertising, analytics tracking, or third-party data sharing. Images that teachers import or create in the app stay on the device, along with story-card data and teacher PIN settings. If a user chooses to save a generated story board image, the image is written to Photos using standard iOS permissions.

Permissions

Story Shuffle may request access to the camera so a teacher can create a custom story card with a photo, access to the photo library so classroom images can be imported into the app, and permission to add photos when a user chooses to save a generated story board image. These permissions are optional and are only used to provide the related feature.

Storage

Built-in and custom story card data, user-imported images used for custom cards, and teacher PIN state and related local app settings are stored locally on the device so the app can function as expected. This information is not used for analytics, advertising, or tracking.

What Story Shuffle Does Not Do

Story Shuffle does not require account creation, collect analytics data, track users across apps or websites, sell personal information, or share personal information with data brokers.

Data Sharing

Story Shuffle does not send user-created story data or imported classroom images to a developer-operated server in the current version of the app.

Children's Privacy

Story Shuffle is intended for classroom and educational use. The app does not include social networking, third-party advertising, or behavioural tracking.
